** "David shook us up with his lecture entitled « Water can cure you, water can heal you ». Chlorine in water is a killer. It combines with organic matter to produce THM (trihalomethane), which is carcinogenic, but a stomach cancer can take 30 years to break out, so we stupidly dismiss any link between THM and cancer. If we regularly swim in a chlorinated pool, cancer risks are increased by 400%, for the likes of bladder, colon and rectal cancers. If we take showers and baths in unfiltered water*, the risk of cancer ranges from 600 to 1000%."

This is an excerpt from an article by Kit Davidson and Dolly Etter, entitled «Témoignage : Un voyage hors du commun au Centre Hippocrates» (or « Account of a remarkable journey to the Hippocrates Centre ») published in the magazine «Pluriel Nature» no83, April-June 2003. In spite of the fact the authors were unfamiliar with the bioelectronics theory of Vincent, they observed chlorine’s pernicious properties. This constitutes an empiric approach that takes into account clinically observed facts in correlation with patients’ exposure to chlorine. When you understand BEV, you better understand this biocide’s modus operandi. You then discover that trihalomethane formation is a negligible point when compared with organic changes brought on by reduced electronic activity due to oxidizing products such as chlorine.

* The filtering involved here would be with activated carbon, which is likely to eliminate chlorine. This type of filtering is particularly recommended to de-chlorinate an infant’s bathwater. In swimming pools of many American schools, students, upon leaving the pool of a chlorinated set-up, are obliged to cross through a corridor serviced with de-chlorinated water showers. This precautionary measure eliminates one of the factors contributing to the general weakening of children’s immune system.
